Our team has a combined total of over 30 years in the biogas industry, working in various companies to bring about the proliferation of anaerobic digestion technologies and business models into the Nigerian economy.

The removal of fuel subsidies and the global energy market volatility have driven up fuel prices, impacting transportation and processing costs. These higher costs are usually passed on to the consumer, making staples like gari and other products more expensive. This exacerbates the financial strain on low-income households and puts pressure on processing companies to find creative but sometimes damaging ways to deal with soaring energy prices.
At Togata, our mission is to help agro-processing companies reduce their cost of processing, by significantly lowering their energy costs. Energy account for almost half of operating costs in every industry in Nigeria.
